Excellent for the priceWe use this giant drum for our gatherings! Our children love it!!!Gift for my granddaughterThis drum is great for little drummers. The quality is great for the money, it is sturdy for heavy handed toddlers (even when they manage stand on it! Don’t recommend that though).The sound is loud and the sticks are great for littles. Having the soft mallets is also perfect for when they start to “drum” on other things too!This would make a great gift for any toddler musician or musical enthusiast.This is a great drum! It has a pretty design, is sturdy and my baby loves crawling past it to bang on it.My little girl loves this drum and is really becoming a wonderful baby drummer on it. It's got a great tone and is very durable and super cute. It loses a star because there is a point where the drum skin is attached by a nylon band that wraps around the drum and further holds it in place. The nylon is hard stapled in. The nylon has a glue that keeps it from fraying. Those edges are very sharp and actually cut her little hand. I wound up taking shears and cutting the corners and edges. I hope that doesn't cause the nylon to fray and eventually come out from the staple but I never want my baby cut like that. That is a slight manufacturing issue that I hope will be tended to. Other than that, I am very pleased with the product.My toddler has so much fun with this drum. This is so much better than those cheap plastic battery-operated drums at the store.Love this drum. It is made to be very durable. My boys 5 and 3 years old have been beating on it for weeks now and it shows no wear. It actually has a very nice timbre, deep sound. It came with 2 soft head mallets and I think it will be a favorite toy for may years!My 5 year old asked for this and was not disappointed. It makes a lovely deep sound and isn't annoying at all. I think a tinny one would be but this is nice. It is a good size (not too big or small), looks lovely quality, makes a good noise and is very bangable! I defy you to not want to have a drum roll on this!My son loves it, I (truthfully) love it, but it is really really loud.You can muffle it my putting a towel in the bottom, but my son clocks that straight away and pulls it out.But it is a lovely drum, if a bit pricey.My 2 year old son loves this drum. Excellent quality. Lovely sound. All my friends children love playing with it when they come around. I would recommendMy disabled son has been having a great sensory time. He just loves it . He has other remo drums but the big smile on his face tells me this is his favourite oneThe sound could be a bit better quality, but overall ok.
