Description

Space-saving Conversion Kit for Small Venues When stage or rehearsal space real estate is at a premium or the venue is just too small for the amplitude your full kit produces, you need a real-world solution that doesn't break the bank. Enter the Dunnett R-class Floor Tom to Bass Drum Conversion Kit, which lets your floor tom function as a lower-volume kick. For use with brands employing 12.7mm L-rods, the conversion kit includes an R-class rail mount for attaching your rack tom, two R-class spurs for the other two floor tom brackets, and a bass drum kick riser and a utility clamp for attaching your kick pedal. The result is the ability to play the gig or practice even when you don't have room for a full kit — or when a full kit's volume might just drive the crowd away!Dunnett R-class 12.7mm Floor Tom to Bass Drum Conversion Kit

I used this to turn my 16” floor tom into a small cocktail kick. Works great but the pedal clamp mechanism will require modification so that the beater head contacts the BD head correctly. Out of the box, clamping your pedal to the pedal clamp pad results in your pedal being way too far from the drum head to function properly so I had to add a wooden spacer that pushed the clamp pad closer to the drum. Works fine now but you’ll def need to modify.
