It's a bit fiddly to get them in the ends of the heavy Gretsch floor tom legs, but it definitely works, and is definitely an improvent over the original rubber feet that wore out and fell off. I can definitely tell there is more resonance to the tom with these feet vs the previous feet (or no feet).If you have a floor tom with cheap plastic feet, you need these. They will make even the least expensive floor tom sound great!BEAUTIFULFit fine on a pearl floor tom. My hearing is shot, so I can't speak to how well it may have affected sound or resonance, but you can tell that the floor tom does free float better than with the "stock" feet.My biggest pet peeve is drums that sound like boxes. These floor Tom feet have become such an important part of my setup, that I actually tour around the world with 2 sets just in case I run into a pair of floor toms in another country that sound like boxes. They’re well designed, allow any floor Tom to breathe, and are much less expensive than the Pearl Freefloating feet (which are also good). I have a lot of drums, and all of my floor toms have these on them.Bought these for a 14" floor tom with 3/8" diameter legs, and 16" & 18" floor toms with 1/2" diameter legs and they fit both leg sizes. A little bit of lubricant helped for the larger diameter. These work great, I could tell the difference in sound. Definitely more boom and extended ring.Great product at a great price. These babies really work, and for the price they're a steal! Get some. You'll be glad you did.Lubbly big rubbers did exactly as promised - my 1970's 16" Gretsch tom now booms like the booming tom of death. I've also put them on my bass drum which now reverberates like a politically incorrect joke on Radio 4.Absolutely superb product. My floor Tom's nose sing !!!
