The squabbling in earlier reviews over whether Schultz's little pamphlet on the rosary is Anglican or Roman Catholic is silly. The title of the pamphlet as well as its opening pages suggest that it is a guide about how to pray the rosary for episcopalians/anglicans who may not be familiar with it. It simply doesn't claim to be a guide for a specifically Anglican rosary prayer. Readers who are disappointed with it are blaming it for not doing something it never promises to do.More to the point, the guide is a useful resource for a traditional and powerful Christian prayer. Schultz explains the five Mysteries and how to use the rosary to meditate on them. An especially welcome feature is a thirteen-page appendix in which he collects pertinent Gospel texts for each of the 25 specific episodes meditated on by the rosary user. They offer readers of his pamphlet a convenient way of refreshing their memories before actually praying each Mystery.
